  • 2 c
    lasagna noodles, uncooked
  • 1/4 c
    chopped onion
  • 3 1/4 c
    mild taco sauce
  • 1/2 tsp
  • 2 c
    chopped lettuce
  • 3 c
    cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 3/4 lb
    lean ground beef
  • 1/4 c
    chopped green bell pepper
  • 1/2 c
  • 1/4 tsp
    each, pepper, basil, chili powder
  • 1 c
    chopped tomatoes

How to Make Taco Lasagna


  1. Cook lasagna noodles for 10 minutes, brown beef, onion and green bell pepper. Drain fat. Stir taco sauce , water salt, pepper, basil and chili powder. Simmer 5 minutes. Pour 1/4 cup meat sauce on bottom of 13 x 9 baking pan. Arrange 3 pieces lasagna lengthwise over sauce. Pour 1 cup meat sauce over lasagna. Sprinkle 1 cup lettuce, 1/2 cup tomatoes, 1/2 cup cheese in layers over sauce. Repeat layers; top with remaining lasagna and meat sauce. Sprinkle remaining cheese.
  2. Bake 350 for 20 minutes.
