You want to make sure not to over cook this dish. Otherwise the crescent roll bottom will burn. The best time to take it out of the oven is when the cheese becomes a nice golden brown.

Ingredients

  • 1 can crescent rolls
  • 1 small package taco seasoned chips or crushed corn chips
  • 1 pound lean hamburger
  • 1 medium onion chopped
  • 1 package taco seasoning mix
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 can sliced black olives
  • 4 cups shredded coby jack cheese

How To Make taco hot dish

  • Step 1
    Lightly grease a 9 x 12 pan, then roll out crescent rolls into pan, pressing until it covers the bottom
  • Step 2
    Press about half of the chips into the crescent dough and set aside
  • Step 3
    Pre-heat oven at 350 Degrees F
  • Step 4
    Cook hamburger, onions and olives then drain off fat and add taco seasoning and water. Continue to cook until water is absorbed
  • Step 5
    Top with cheese and remaining chips
  • Step 6
    Put into oven and bake for about 25 - 35 minutes
