You will be amazed at this dish. It is a casserole that contains everything you love on a taco - (even the lettuce - and it doesn't get soggy)!

Ingredients

  • 1 package nacho cheese chips
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 package taco seasoning mix
  • 1 can nacho cheese soup
  • 1 can milk
  • 2-3 cups lettuce, chopped
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 medium tomato, diced
  • 1-2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 small can black olives, sliced
  • - salsa
  • - sour cream

How To Make taco casserole

  • Step 1
    Crush the bag of nacho chips and pour into bottom of 9x13 pan.
  • Step 2
    Brown the ground beef, drain. Add taco seasoning and cook per package instructions (you may wish to add a bit less water than what the package calls for)-place beef mixture on top of the chips.
  • Step 3
    Mix the nacho cheese soup with the 1 can of milk in a small sauce pan until warm. Pour over the burger.
  • Step 4
    Add the lettuce, tomato, onion, etc. as desired. Top with shredded cheddar cheese.
  • Step 5
    Bake uncovered in 350* oven for 20 minutes or until cheese is melted.
  • Step 6
    Before serving top with sour cream and/or salsa as desired.
