taco casserole

I was going to make tacos with rice as the side for dinner but I thought oh what the heck just layer it like a lasagna and make it easier, it was good and I will make it like this again. I just forgot to take a pic of it

Ingredients
- 2 pounds ground beef, cooked and drained
- 8 ounces mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 8 ounces cheddar cheese, shredded
- 4 ounces pepper jack cheese , shredded
- 1 package knorr taco flavored rice * ( or what ever brand that has a taco, spanish or mexican flavored rice)
- 1 can (small)green chiles, mild, chopped
- 1 can refried beans
- 1 1/2 cups picante sauce
- 1-2 package taco seasoning mix
- 10 large tortillas, flour( or smaller ones will be ok)
- - sour cream for topping ( optional)
How To Make taco casserole

Step 1Brown and drain ground beef, Cook rice as directed on package, to the ground beef, add taco seasoning, chiles, re-fried beans,picante sauce and cooked rice. Stir together well.

Step 2Shred cheese or use the packed shredded, mix together.

Step 3In a 9x13 casserole dish line with foil or parchment paper. Place a layer of tortillas a layer of ground beef mixture a layer of cheese. Repeat ending with a layer of tortillas and top with a a little cheese if you want. Place in a preheated 350 oven for about 20 minutes. Top with sour cream if you want
