Ingredients

  • - 1 1.2 lbs. ground chuck
  • - 1 small onion, chopped
  • - 1 can tomato sauce, 8 oz
  • - 1 pkg. tacon seasoning mix, 1 25 oz
  • - 6 hamburger buns
  • - 1 small onion, sliced and separted into rings
  • - 1 1/2 cups shredded lettuce
  • - 3 medium tomatoes, chopped
  • - 1 cup fnely shredded cheddar cheese
  • - 1/2 cup sliced pimiento stuffed olives

How To Make taco burgers

  • Step 1
    Brown meat and chopped onion in large skillet, stirring til meat crumbles; drain well. Add tomato sauce and taco seasoning to meat mixture. Stir well. Bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered for 5 minutes.
  • Step 2
    Split and toast hamburger buns. Place onion rings on each sandwich; top with meat mixture. Top each sandwich with lettuce, tomato, cheese and olives. Replace bun tops. Makes 6 sandwiches.
