My mom made this for us when we where kids. It is so good & hearty. I make cabbage & mash potatoes as side-dish. I now cook it for my husben & he loves it.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb
    ground beef
  • 2 Tbsp
    onion ( chopped )
  • 2 Tbsp
    bell pepper ( chopped )
  • 1 pkg
    taco seasoning mix
  • 1 can(s)
    bean with bacon soup
  • 1 medium
    tomato
  • 1 pkg
    cheese, shredded
  • 1 large
    egg

How to Make Taco Burger

Step-by-Step

  1. Mix ground beef, onion, bell pepper, egg, and taco seasoning together. Pat out 4 patties and cook to no longer pink. Drain the grease off of patties and return patties to skillet.
  2. In a bowl mix bean & bacon soup and enough water to make it creamy. Pour over patties. Dice tomatoes and spread over top. Sprinkle cheese over top. ( I use 2 cups of cheese, We like it cheesey )
  3. Turn the oven on to 325 degree's. Place the skillet in the oven and cook about 10 to 15 minutes or until cheese is melted.
