Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 3/4 teaspoon salt, divided
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 3/4 pound round steak, 1/2" thick
- 1 tablespoon cooking oil
- 8 ounces stewed tomatoes
- 1 - green pepper sliced thin
- 1 - onion, sliced

Step 1In a resealable plastic bag, combine the flour, 1/4 teaspoon salt and pepper.

Step 2Cut steak into two pieces; place in bag and shake to coat.

Step 3In a skillet over medium heat, brown steak in oil.

Step 4Add tomatoes. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 40 minutes.

Step 5Add green pepper, onion and remaining salt.

Step 6Cover and simmer until meat is tender, about 30 minutes.
