How To Make swiss steak
-
Step 1if steaks are large you want to cut them down to size (about 2"X4" give or take) season the with garlic and salt then flour and fry in oil in a dutch oven set aside once all are fried. then add bacon grease and onions sautee. add stewed tomatoes and tomato sauces and water. add steaks to the sauce, the coating will fall off and look lumpy but it also thickens the gravy up. allow to cook a few hours till steaks are very tender almost falling apart. when steaks are tender, add a can of sweet peas and serve over mashed poatoes.
