How to Make SWISS STEAK
- Salt and pepper the Round Steak. Cut into single portions. Flour it. Put enough cooking oil in a frying pan and brown the steak on both sides. Place it in a baking dish.
- Gravy: Drain off grease. Chop up sm onion and place in frying pan. Add 3 Tbls of flour while stirring constantly on medium heat until flour browns. Add apx 2 Cups water and a sm can of tomato juice. When thickened, pour over meat. Bake @ 350* for 1 hour.
