How to Make Swiss Steak
- Cut steak into squares; flour, salt and pepper. Brown in a skillet with little oil. Mix the soup and tomatoes together and pour over the meat; add onion rings and bell pepper strips on top. Cook about an hour on very low or until steak is tender. Serve over mashed potatoes or rice.
- This could be baked in the oven at 300 degrees for about 2 - 2/12 hours or in a crock pot. I baked this in the oven for about 2 1/2 hours.
