Ingredients

  • 5-6 lb
    chuck steak,
  • 3 large
    onions sliced
  • 1 large
    green bell pepper sliced
  • 1/2 bunch
    celery, chopped
  • 1 large
    can of v8 juice

How to Make Swiss Steak

Step-by-Step

  1. In a large roasting pan layer the chuck steak and the veggies.. salt and peppering each layer to taste.
  2. Pour over the V-8 Juice.
  3. Cover and bake in a 300 degree oven for 3-4 hours or until the meat is fork tender,
