Ingredients
- 4 - round steak filets
- 1/2 cup all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 - large onion, sliced
- 28 ounces stewed tomatoes
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
How To Make swiss steak

Step 1Pound Steak; mix flour and salt in bowl. Dip filets in the flour and set aside.

Step 2Heat oil in skillet. Add filets and brown on both sides.

Step 3Spread onion over the top of the filets.

Step 4Add tomatoes, oregano and black pepper. Add 1/2 cup water. Turn down to simmer and cook 45 minutes or more. Serve over rice or mashed potatoes.
