4round steak filets

1/2 call purpose flour

1 tspgarlic salt

1/4 cvegetable oil

1large onion, sliced

28 ozstewed tomatoes

1/2 tspdried oregano

1/2 tspblack pepper
How to Make Swiss Steak
- Pound Steak; mix flour and salt in bowl. Dip filets in the flour and set aside.
- Heat oil in skillet. Add filets and brown on both sides.
- Spread onion over the top of the filets.
- Add tomatoes, oregano and black pepper. Add 1/2 cup water. Turn down to simmer and cook 45 minutes or more. Serve over rice or mashed potatoes.
