Ingredients
- 4 pounds round steak
- 1 can 24 oz tomatoe juice
- 1 can 15.25 oz diced tomatoes
- 1-2 cup all purpose flour
- - salt and pepper to taste
- 3 tablespoons allspice, ground
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil for frying
How To Make swiss steak

Step 1Remove as much fat from meat. Cut in chunks, about 3 oz each.

Step 2Mix flour and salt & pepper. Dredge meat in flour mixture.

Step 3Brown meat on both sides in frying pan with oil. Remove and drain on paper towels.

Step 4Place meat in large/deep roasting pan. Pour on top the tomatoe Juice, diced tomatoes. Sprinkle allspice over top. Cover with foil and bake in a 250 degree oven for 4-5 hours or until meat is fork tender like a pot roast.
