Ingredients
- 2 pounds ground hamburger ( i use 93%)
- 1 can 12 oz. evaporated milk
- 2 cups oatmeal
- 1 large onion, chopped, fine
- 2 - jalapeno peppers, chopped, fine
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 2 1/2 teaspoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 - eggs
- - sauce ingredients:
- 2 cups ketchup
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 - onion, chunked
- 3 - red and green bell peppers, chunked
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
How To Make sweet n sour pepper meatballs

Step 1In a very large mixing bowl, place hamburger and all the other ingredients, then mix with clean hands thoroughly... mix very well;;

Step 2Turn oven on to 350* while waiting for that to heat, gives you time to make the meatballs; make balls into about 2" balls and place on a large cookie sheet.. this recipe will make about 20 or so..

Step 3Bake in oven 40 min, or until browned lightly..While they are baking; you will have time to make the sauce: Cut up your onion and green peppers, and place in a medium size sauce pan with the other sauce ingredients stir well.. Place on burner at med. level.. bring to a boil, stirring occasionally until pepper and onion are no longer crisp..remove from heat.

Step 4Take your crockpot out, and when the meatballs are done, spoon them into the crockpot and pour the sauce over them.. put on low about 2 hours, then turn to warm until ready to serve.. serve with rice or noodles.. and a salad.. Enjoy
