sweet and sour meatloaf

This recipe was given to me by a family friend and is a great standby for meatloaf night

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbs - ground beef
  • 1 cup - dry bread crumbs
  • 1 tsp - salt
  • 1/4 tsp - pepper
  • 2 - eggs
  • 1tsp - minced onion
  • 15 ozs - tomato sauce halved
  • TOPPING
  • - half tomato sauce
  • 2 tbsp - brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp - vinegar
  • 1/2 cup - white sugar
  • 2 tbsp - prepared mustard

How To Make sweet and sour meatloaf

  • Step 1
    Base ingredients mix all together. Bake in pan at 350 for 50 minutes
  • Step 2
    Topping mix all together in saucepan. Bring to a boil. Pour over meatloaf and bake for 10 minutes
