A great dish! Make small meatballs for appetizers. Make larger meatballs and serve over rice or noodles. Absolutely delicious!

Ingredients

  • 1-2 pound ground beef
  • 1 - egg
  • 2 tablespoons breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • dash - pepper
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 12 ounces chili sauce
  • 10 ounces grape jelly
  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice

How To Make sweet and sour meatballs

  • Step 1
    Combine meat, egg, bread crumbs, seasonings and onion. Make small meatballs.
  • Step 2
    Heat chili sauce, jelly, and lemon juice in a heavy skillet until blended. Add meatballs, cover and simmer 30 minutes. Uncover and cook 15 minutes longer, stirring frequently.
