  • 1
    egg
  • 2 Tbsp
    breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • dash
    pepper
  • 1/4 c
    chopped onion
  • 12 oz
    chili sauce
  • 10 oz
    grape jelly
  • 3 Tbsp
    lemon juice

How to Make Sweet and Sour Meatballs

Step-by-Step

  1. Combine meat, egg, bread crumbs, seasonings and onion. Make small meatballs.
  2. Heat chili sauce, jelly, and lemon juice in a heavy skillet until blended. Add meatballs, cover and simmer 30 minutes. Uncover and cook 15 minutes longer, stirring frequently.
