sweet and savory brisket
Had this beautiful Brisket a couple of weeks ago and man was it delicious. We had Garlic Mashed Potatoes and Corn On The Cob with it.

Ingredients
- 1 - beef brisket (3 to 3 1/2 lbs.)*, cut in half
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup grape jelly
- 1 1/4 - envelope onion soup mix
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
How To Make sweet and savory brisket

Step 1Place half of the brisket in a slow cooker. In a bowl, combine the ketchup, jelly, soup mix and pepper; spread half over meat.

Step 2Top with remaining meat and ketchup mixture. Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours or until meat is tender. Slice brisket; serve with cooking juices. 8-10 servings.

Step 3*Be sure you are using a fresh beef brisket, not a corned beef.
