Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 pound ground pork
- 1 cup crushed crackers & pretzles or bread crumbs
- 1 can tomato soup
- 2 - eggs
- 1 - onion chopped
- 1/2 cup chopped fresh sno pead pods strings removed
- 1/2-1 cup chopped fresh or canned mushrooms
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 package lipton onion soup mix
- 1 pinch onion powder
- 1 pinch garlic powder
How To Make surprise meatloaf

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees

Step 2Saute onions, mushrooms and sno pea pods in olive oil until tender

Step 3Mix meats with dry ingredients then add sauted veggies and mix.

Step 4Add wet ingredients: milk, eggs, and tomato soup and mix well.

Step 5Pour mix into large loaf pan and level so it is evenly spread out.

Step 6Cook in preheated oven at 350 for 1/2 to 1 hour or unitl center is done. Let sit for about 10 minutes before cutting. Will be slightly pink colored due to soup so don't over cook. We had this with scored potatoes and fresh carrotts,

Step 7The next day we made sandwiches for lunch with it cold. Delicious with a little spicy mustard or ketchup.
