  • 1 lb
    flank steak
  • 1 c
    soft whole wheat bread crumbs
  • 1/4 c
    onion, chopped
  • 1/4 c
    celery, chopped
  • 1/4 c
    carrots, chopped
  • 1/4 c
    tomato, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp
    parsley flakes
  • 1/2 tsp
    thyme, powdered
  • 1 dash(es)
  • 2 Tbsp

How to Make Stuffed Flank Steak


  1. Pound steak to tenderize.
  2. Cut pocket in center of steak.
  3. Combine remaining ingredients and mix well.
  4. Stuff steak and secure opening with skewers.
  5. Broil 3 inches from heat 3-4 minutes on each side, or longer to taste.
  6. To serve cut thin slices diagonally across grain.
