This is a slow cooked meal that is so tender and easy to make. You do not add any liquid to it as the moisture comes from the meat.

Ingredients For stuffed flank steak

1 pkgcrushed corn bread stuffing or you can make your own. i have done both.

1 cchopped onions

1 cchopped celery
-
1/4 cminced fresh parsley or tsp of dried

1egg

1 1/4 clow sodium beef broth

1/3 cmelted butter
-
1/2 tspseasoned salt
-
1/2 tsppepper (i used the coarse kind)

1flank steak about 1 1/2 pounds
How To Make stuffed flank steak

1In a large bowl, combine stuffing, onion, celery and parsley. In a small bowl, beat the egg; stir in broth and the melted butter. Pour over stuffing mixture. Sprinkle with seasoned salt and pepper; mix well.

2Pound steak to 1/2 inch thickness. Spread 1 1/2 cups stuffing mixture over steak. Roll the steak up starting with the short side; tie with cooking string. Place in a 5 quart slow cooker. Any remaining stuffing can be wrapped tightly in foil and placed over the rolled steak. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours. (Since I work it cooks for almost 8 hours). Remove the string before slicing.
