My husband and I really enjoy stuffed cabbage so I wrote this recipe and it turned out really great and you don't have to stuff cabbage leaves.

Ingredients

  • 1 - cabbage, shredded
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup rice
  • 1 can tomato sauce(15 ounce)
  • 2 cans chicken broth(15 ounce)
  • 2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
  • - salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon grated nutmeg(optional)
  • 1 can tomato paste(6oz)

How To Make stuffed cabbage casserole

  • Step 1
    In large pot brown ground beef, drain. Add cabbage, rice, worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper and nutmeg. Stir in tomato sauce, tomato paste and enough chicken broth for cabbage to steam and rice to cook.Cook with lid on pot, until cabbage is tender and rice is soft.
