Ingredients
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1 package (16oz) frozen mixed veggies
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 tablespoon dried onions, minced
- 1 package (2.75oz) dried mashed potatoes
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2/3 cup skim milk
- 1 can tomato soup, condensed
- 1 teaspoon worchestershire sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 cup sharp cheddar cheese
How To Make stovetop shepard's pie

Step 1Brown ground beef in a large sauté pan over medium-high heat. Drain; return ground beef to pan. Stir in frozen vegetables, 1/4 cup water and onion. Reduce heat to medium, cover and simmer, stirring occasionally, 5 minutes or until vegetables are thawed.

Step 2Meanwhile, prepare mashed potatoes according to package directions, using 1-1/2 cups water, salt, butter and milk. Cover and set aside.

Step 3Stir soup, Worcestershire sauce and thyme into meat and vegetables. Spread prepared mashed potatoes on top. Sprinkle with cheese. Reduce heat to low, cover and heat through, about 5 minutes.
