- 3-4 pounds beef chuck roast
- - butter for frying
- 14 1/2 ounces can petite diced tomatoes
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 stalks celery, diced
- 1 cup red wine, dry, full bodied
- 1 package brown gravy mix
- 2 tablespoons steak seasoning
How To Make stovetop chuck roast

Step 1In a dutch oven or large, deep frying pan, brown roast in butter for 5 minutes on each side.

Step 2Combine remaining ingredients and pour over roast and place on stove top. Cover and simmer for 3-4 hours.
