steph's meatloaf

This recipe has been passed down through my mom's family and every woman has put her own variations to it; My sister and I each have very different variations for instence hers doesen't include meat. lol I liked my mom's meatloaf but I always thought it was a little dry and so I added some things to remedy that let me know what you think!

Ingredients
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1 can (16 oz) tomato sauce
- 1 can bread crumbs, seasoned
- 1 - celery stalk
- 1 package dry onion soup mix
- 1 - egg
- 3 1/2 tablespoons garlic powder
- 3 tablespoons salt and pepper
- 1 can small can tomato sauce
How To Make steph's meatloaf

Step 1You are going to mix the egg, and half the tomato sauce, together with your hands then add 1 cup bread crumbs, and dry onion soup mix.

Step 2Add remaining tomato sauce, 1/2 cup bread cup bread crumbs, 4-5 pieces of celery chopped finely, sprinkle garlic powder, salt and pepper to test, mix together with hands. In a small bowl mix together 2 Tbl. garlic Powder, 2Tb. Salt, 2Tbl. Pepper set aside.

Step 3Pour mixture from bowl into lightly greased glass 13x9 pan spread evenly. Drizzle tomato sauce from small tomato sauce onto meatloaf and then sprinkle the spices from the bowl onto the meatloaf. Then drizzle some more tomato sauce then spread spices and sauce evenly. Bake on 450 for 40-45 min or until done.
