thai peanut sauce steaks
I adopted this recipe because I thought it sounded interesting. I took out some ingredients and added others, adjusting to suit my tastes through trial-and-error. The result is a savory Thai-inspired steak dinner that is company-worthy.

Ingredients
- 1/3 cup peanut butter, creamy
- 2 teaspoons garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup beef broth
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
- 1 teaspoon jalapeno pepper, diced
- 2 teaspoons fresh ginger root, grated
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar (i used splenda)
- 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/2 cup sour cream or plain yogurt
- 1 pound top round steak, sliced in 1/4
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 1 - green onion, thinly sliced
How To Make thai peanut sauce steaks

Step 1In blender container, process peanut butter, garlic, broth, soy sauce, lime juice, jalapeno pepper, ginger, sugar and cayenne pepper until smooth. Place in medium skillet and stir in sour cream or yogurt. Heat this sauce over low heat. Do not boil.

Step 2While sauce is heating, brown steak strips to desired state of doneness. Add steak strips to sauce mixture, heating through.

Step 3Serve over rice, garnishing with sliced green onions. Enjoy!
