Ingredients
- 6 medium green peppers
- 1/3 cup chopped onions
- 1 pound can stewed tomatoes
- 2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
- 1 cup sharp american cheese grated
- 1 pound ground steak
- 1 tablespoon fat
- 3/4 cup packaged precooked rice
- - salt and pepper to taste
How To Make steak stuffed peppers

Step 1Cut off tops of green peppers; remove seeds and membrane.

Step 2Precook green-peppers in boiling salted water about 5 minutes then drain.

Step 3Sprinkle inside with salt.

Step 4Brown meat and onion in hot fat; add tomatoes, rice, worcestershire, salt and pepper to taste.

Step 5Cover and simmer until rice is almost tender, about 5 minutes.

Step 6Add cheese.

Step 7Stuff peppers; stand upright in 10 x 6 inch baking dish.

Step 8Bake uncovered in moderate oven 350 degree 25 minutes or until hot.

Step 9Sprinkle tops with additional shredded cheese.
