This is a recipe my whole family loves. It is very easy and so yummy with either egg noodles or rice. I have even made this while camping with great success.

3 lb
cubed steak, cut into 1/2" strips
2 Tbsp
vegetable oil
2 Tbsp
red wine vinegar
1 can(s)
(29 oz.) diced tomatoes with basil, oregano, & garlic
1 pkg
dry beefy onion soup mix
2 clove
garlic, minced
1/2 tsp
oregano, dried
1/2 tsp
black pepper
hot cooked egg noodles or rice

How to Make Steak San Marco

  • 1In a large electric skillet (set at 350 degrees), heat oil and red wine vinegar.
  • 2Add steak strips and cook until no longer pink.
  • 3Reduce heat to simmer (200 degrees); then add tomatoes (do not drain), soup mix, garlic, oregano, and black pepper. Cover and cook for about 1 1/2 hours until liquid is reduced and meat is very tender, stirring occasionally.
  • 4Serve over hot cooked egg noodles or rice.
