I adopted this recipe because I liked the basic ingredients. Then I changed and added some ingredients to suit my tastes, along with adapting it to crock pot cooking. Now it is a tasty dish that should please your family! Give it a try and let me know what you think.

Slow Cooker Crock Pot

Ingredients

  • 2 lb
    sirloin steak, cut in strps
  • 1/2 c
    flour
  • 2 lb
    mushroom caps
  • 2 tsp
    garlic, minced
  • 1 can(s)
    cream of mushroom soup, condensed
  • 1 c
    beef broth
  • 1 c
    dry red wine (i used merlot)
  • ·
    salt and pepper, to taste
  • ·
    cooking spray

How to Make Crock Pot Steak 'N' Mushrooms

Step-by-Step

  1. Spray crock pot with cooking spray.
  2. In a shallow dish, mix steak strips with flour until well-coated. Place ingredients in crock pot in order listed. Cook on low for 7 hours.
  3. Serve with rice or noodles. Enjoy!
  4. NOTE: Those of you who do not cook with wine can substitute 1/2 - 3/4 cup beef broth and 2 - 3 Tbsp each of lemon juice and balsamic vinegar.
