Ingredients
- 4 (6 oz) - beef tenderloins
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup shallot -- diced
- 1 (10 oz) package fresh mushrooms -- sliced
- 1 1/2 teaspoons olive oil
- 1/4 cup marsala wine
- 1/4 cup beef broth
How To Make steak & mushrooms

Step 1Season your meats on both sides with salt and pepper.

Step 2Heat nonstick skillet over medium-high heat until very hot.

Step 3Add steaks and cook 8 to 10 minutes for medium-rare or until desired doneness, turning steaks over once. Transfer steaks to platter; keep warm.

Step 4Leave drippings in skillet, add oil and shallot, and cook 1 minute, stirring often. Add mushrooms and cook until liquid evaporates and mushroom mixture is golden. Stirring frequently. Add the Marsala and 1/4 cup beef broth; cook 30 seconds, stirring constantly. Spoon mushroom sauce over steaks.
