    fresh pizza dough
  • 8 tsp
    olive oil, divided
  • 2 clove
    garlic, minced
  • 2
    beef tenderloin steaks (or your choice), approximately 4 oz. each
  • 1/8 tsp
    kosher salt
  • 4 c
    arugula, loosely packed
  • 1/4 c
    red onion, thinly sliced
  • 3 Tbsp
    balsamic vinaigrette
  • 2 oz
    blue cheese, crumbled
  • 1/4 tsp
    black pepper

How to Make Steak House Topping for Your Favorite Pizza Dough


  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Prepare your pizza dough by rolling into a 14-inch circle. Place on pizza pan/stone; pierce with fork. Combine 2 tbsp. olive oil and garlic; brush over dough. Bake at 450 for 14 minutes.
  2. Heat remaining 2 tsp. oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sprinkle steaks with salt. Add steaks to pan; cook 3 minutes on each side. Remove from pan; let stand 5 minutes. Cut across grain into slices.
  3. Combine arugula, onion, and vinaigrette. Arrange over crust; top with steak, cheese, and pepper.
