cooking oil

tomato sauce
1 tsp
ground cumin
1 tsp
garlic powder
1/2 tsp
1/4 tsp
2 Tbsp
1/4 c
cold water
hot cooked rice

How to Make Steak & Gravy


  • 1Cut beef into bite-size pieces; brown in oil in skillet.
  • 2Transfer to a slow cooker.
  • 3Cover with water; add tomato sauce and seasonings.
  • 4Cover and cook on low for 8 hours, or on high for 4 hours, or until meat is tender.
  • 5In a small bowl, combine flour and cold water to make a paste; stir into liquid in slow cooker.
  • 6Cover and cook on high 30 minutes longer or until gravy is thickened.
  • 7Serve over rice or potatoes.
