Ingredients
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- 2 cups sliced onions
- 2 cups green peppers, cut into strips
- 2 teaspoons minced garlic
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
- 3/4 pound top round steak, trimmed and cut into thin strips
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 teaspoons worcestershire sauce
- 4 slices reduced-fat provolone cheese, cut in half
- 4 - sub rolls (hoagie rolls)
How To Make steak and cheese sandwiches with mushrooms

Step 1In large non-stick skillet, heat the oil over medium-high heat. Add onions, bell pepper, and garlic; saute 3 minutes. Add the mushrooms and saute 4 minutes longer.

Step 2Sprinkle the beef strips with salt and pepper and add to skillet and saute until browned, about 3 minutes. Stir in Worcestershire sauce and saute 1 minute longer.

Step 3On sub roll,(each cut into halves), place 1 cheese slice half and top with beef mixture. Top with remaining cheese half and the remaining sub halve. 10 points per serving.
