  • 1.5 lb
    ground beef
  • 1/2 c
    onion, chopped
  • 1
  • 1/4 c
    parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 pkg
    spinach, thawed and drained
  • 1/2 tsp
  • 1/4 tsp
  • 1/4 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 1 c
    beef broth
  • 8 oz
    tomato sauce
  • 1/2 c
    dry red wine
  • 1 Tbsp

How to Make Spinach Meatballs


  1. Chop the spinach and mix all ingredients, form small balls, place in 1 1/2 quart casserole.
  2. Mix broth, tomato sauce, wine and cornstarch.
  3. Pour over meatballs.
  4. Bake covered in 350 degree oven for 40-60 minutes.
  5. Can be served over noodles, or great for parties served in crockpot.
