    ground beef
  • 1/2 c
    dry red wine
  • 8 oz
    tomato sauce
  • 1 c
    beef broth
  • 1/4 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp
    pepper
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1 pkg
    spinach, thawed and drained
  • 1/4 c
    parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1
    egg
  • 1/2 c
    onion, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp
    cornstarch

How To Make spinach meatballs

  • 1
    Chop the spinach and mix all ingredients, form small balls, place in 1 1/2 quart casserole.

    Mix broth, tomato sauce, wine and cornstarch.

    Pour over meatballs.

    Bake covered in 350 degree oven for 40-60 minutes.

    Can be served over noodles, or great for parties served in crockpot.
