spicy wine pot roast
I "adopted" this recipe but have made it a lot and really like it. Just add potatoes and you have a full meal.

Ingredients
- 3 pounds beef roast
- 1 - onion, finely chopped
- 1 package brown gravy mix
- 1 cup water
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup red wine
- 2 teaspoons mustard
- 1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
- 2/3 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon herbs of choice
- - parsley
- - salt
- - pepper
How To Make spicy wine pot roast

Step 1Sprinkle meat with salt and pepper.

Step 2Place in crockpot.

Step 3Combine the remaining ingredients, except parsley, and pour over meat.

Step 4Cover and cook on low 10 hours.

Step 5Remove the meat and slice.

Step 6Thicken sauce with flour mixed in a small amount of water and serve over meat sprinkled with chopped parsley.
