Ingredients
- 1 pound roast beef, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup picante sauce
- 1/3 cup red wine vinegar
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 tablespoon cilantro
- 1/3 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/3 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 large pita bread rounds
- - avocado, chopped
- - chopped tomato
- - chopped green bell pepper
- - feta cheese
How To Make spicy beef pitas

Step 1Place sliced beef in a plastic bag set inside a bowl.

Step 2For marinade: In a medium bowl, combine picante, vinegar, oil, cilantro, garlic and pepper. Pour marinade over beef.

Step 3Seal bag; marinate in the refrigerator for 4-24 hours, turning bag occasionally.

Step 4To serve, drain and discard the marinade.

Step 5Fill each pita half with beef.

Step 6Top with chopped vegetables and feta cheese.
