Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds round steak, 1/2 inch thick
- 3/4 teaspoon meat tenderizer
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 15 ounces tomato sauce
- 1 - celery stalk, chopped
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
How To Make speedy swiss steak

Step 1Cut meat into serving sized pieces.

Step 2Moisten meat, lightly, with water.

Step 3Sprinkle meat with tenderizer on each side of the steak; allow to stand 10 to 15 minutes.

Step 4Heat oil in a large skillet.

Step 5Sprinkle meat with flour.

Step 6Add meat to hot oil and brown 2 to 3 minutes.

Step 7Turn meat and add onion powder.

Step 8Cook 2 to 3 minutes more or until meat is well browned.

Step 9Add all remaining ingredients and reduce heat.

Step 10Cover and simmer 30 minutes or until meat is tender.
