As a child nothing smelled better on a rainy evening than mom's spaghetti sauce!!! I would always sneak spoonfuls of sauce as it simmered on the stove. YUM! This is a great recipe for young kids that don't like spicy foods.

Ingredients

Add to Grocery List

  • 1 lb
    ground beef
  • 1 lb
    bacon
  • 3
    onions, yellow, medium chopped
  • 4
    cans tomato soup
  • 2
    cans small tomato sauce
  • 2
    soup cans of water

How to Make Spaghetti Sauce

Step-by-Step

  1. Brown bacon until crisp. I bake mine so that it's not so fatty, at 350 degrees for about 15-20 mins depending on how much fat the bacon has. While bacon is cooking brown ground beef with all 3 onions. In a sauce pan pour tomato soup, tomato sauce and the 2 cans of water. After the beef and bacon are done put in with the tomato mixture and simmer for about 40 mins. Salt and pepper to taste. ENJOY!!!
