spaghetti sauce
(1 RATING)
As a child nothing smelled better on a rainy evening than mom's spaghetti sauce!!! I would always sneak spoonfuls of sauce as it simmered on the stove. YUM! This is a great recipe for young kids that don't like spicy foods.

Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 pound bacon
- 3 - onions, yellow, medium chopped
- 4 - cans tomato soup
- 2 - cans small tomato sauce
- 2 - soup cans of water
How To Make spaghetti sauce
-
Step 1Brown bacon until crisp. I bake mine so that it's not so fatty, at 350 degrees for about 15-20 mins depending on how much fat the bacon has. While bacon is cooking brown ground beef with all 3 onions. In a sauce pan pour tomato soup, tomato sauce and the 2 cans of water. After the beef and bacon are done put in with the tomato mixture and simmer for about 40 mins. Salt and pepper to taste. ENJOY!!!
