2 can(s)15 oz tomato sauce

1 can(s)6 oz tomato paste

1 lblean ground beef (turkey or sausage if desired)

1 mediumonion, finely diced

6-10 mediummushrooms; sliced

2 clovegarlic; garlic press

1/4 cwhite sugar
-
2 tsporegano
-
1 tspsweet basil
-
1/2 tspground pepper
-
1 tspolive oil

2bay leaves
How to Make Spaghetti Sauce - From Aunt Ann
- In a skillet brown ground beef and drain. Saute diced onions, garlic, mushrooms in olive oil.
- In a 6-8 Qt sauce pan combine beef, onions, garlic, & mushrooms. Add tomato sauce and paste along with 1 - 15 oz can water and 1 - 6 oz can water.
- Add all remaining items and stirring well. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover and simmer for 3 to 4 hours. Check on every 30 minutes or so and stir.
