chopped onion
1 (16) oz
jar old el paso thickn'chunky salsa
1(16) oz
can bush chili beans(mild sauce)
1(16) oz
birds eye frozen sweet corn,thawed
!/2 c
1 tsp
granulated garlic
1 1/2 tsp
2 pkg
instant mashed potatoes
1 c
shredded cheddar

How to Make Southwestern Shepherd's Pie


  • 1In a skillet with 1 table spoon of butter brown ground beef and onion.In a large bowl mix the salsa chili beans,corn,ketchup, granulated garlic and salt.Add ground beef and onion.
  • 2Mix well.Grease a 9 by13 inch casserole dish and spead the mixture evenly in pan.
  • 3Mix the packs of potatoes according to the package.Spread the potatoes over the top of the mixture and sprinkle with cheese.Bake at 350 for 25-30 minutes.
