southwest seasoning, picante seasoning

bread crumbs, plain

picante sauce
1/2 Tbsp
green chiles, chopped

monterey jack cheese, shredded
1/4 c
black olives, pitted and sliced
1 c
chili sauce

How to Make Southwestern Meatloaf

Step-by-Step

  • 1I used 1 teaspoon of southwest seasoning as a substitution for the picante seasoning it tasted just fine.
  • 2Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • 3In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, onion, green pepper, garlic, salt, cayenne pepper, frozen corn, green onion, picante seasoning, bread crumbs, eggs, picante sauce, green chiles, cheese, olives and chili sauce.
  • 4Mix well with your hands.
  • 5Place into a greased 9x5 inch loaf pan and bake for about 1 to 1 1/2 hours, until meat is no longer pink and juices run clear.
