Ingredients
- 8 ounces spaghetti
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 large egg beaten
- 1 pound ground beef, or ground venison
- 1/2 - red bell pepper and yellow bell pepper chopped
- 2 - jalapenos seeded and chopped
- 1 medium onion chopped
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- 1 tablespoon new mexico red chili powder
- 1 teaspoon each cumin and mexican oregano
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 - 8 oz cans tomato sauce
- 1 cup each shredded monterey jack cheese and sharp cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup fresh cilantro chopped
How To Make southwestern baked spaghetti

Step 1Cook spaghetti in salted water and drain. Mix milk and egg together and stir in the spaghetti. Pour spaghetti in a buttered 9 x 13 casserole pan. Preheat oven 425 degrees.

Step 2Brown the beef with the onion, garlic, pepper, and jalapeno. Drain. Add meat back to pan. Stir in spices. Add the tomato sauce and cook 2 minutes.

Step 3Pour over spaghetti and top with cheese and cilantro. Bake for about 15 minutes. Until cheese is bubbly and melted.
