Ingredients
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 3 cups link italian sausage caseing removed and chopped up
- 3/4 cup red sweet peppers diced small
- 1 - onions diced small
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 cup chopped seeded tomatoes
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 cup tomato sauce
How To Make southwest stuffed peppers

Step 1Cut 4 peppers lenth wise and clean out the seeds. Blanch the peppers in boiling water for 4 minutes. Pull them out and let them cool. Mix all the ingredients except the tomato sauce. Fill each half of the peppers in a high hill of the pepper place a couple of table spoons of tomato sauce over the top of the beef mix and bake at 350 degrease adding a little sauce over the top as it cooks, until the Filling is cooked. Enjoy.
