I cooked up this little recipe one night when I wanted to make lasagna but realized I had everything but the pasta sauce. In a moment of inspiration I grabbed the taco seasoning and went about making my southwest lasagna. It was a big hit with my family and it is staying on the menu! I hope you enjoy it as well

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 can campbell's cheddar cheese soup
  • 1 package old el paso taco seasoning
  • 1 small tomato dieced
  • 6 medium sliced black olives
  • 1/2 package lasagna noodles, cooked
  • 3 cups shredded cheese (taco)

How To Make southwest lasagna

  • Step 1
    Cooked Ground Beef until brown, add tomatoes and black olives.
  • Step 2
    Add taco seasoning still until well blended,
  • Step 3
    Pour Cheddar Cheese soup into medium mixing bowl and add one cup of milk stir (or whisk) until creamy. Then pour soup into beef and stir together
  • Step 4
    Preheat oven to 325 degrees
  • Step 5
    In Casserole dish place a layer of lasgana noodles, then add beef mixture to coat the noodles then Cheese alternate until desired thickness is reached.
  • Step 6
    Place in oven and bake for 20 mins uncovered
