I was raised in Michigan by two Southern parents. So I had the best of both worlds. We traveled south often and have a farm in Mississippi. My entire family is Southern. I love cooking all kinds of foods. So I came up with the Southern Slider as my own personal preference to the hamburger. I hope you like it as much as we all do.

2 can(s)
grands biscuits
1 lb
ground chuck
1 Tbsp
minced onions
1/4 tsp
black pepper
1/4 tsp
1 Tbsp
worcestershire sauce
cheddar cheese slices or cheese of your choice

1In a mixing bowl, add burger, onions, salt, pepper, sauce. Mix well. Form into thin patties and fry till done.
2Preheat oven 400^
On a floured surface open the cans of biscuits.
Mash one biscuit with the palm of your hand enough to fit your burger in with a lip left over.
3Top with cheese. (and whatever topping you want) I put a pickle, tomato, and mustard and ketchup on it.
4Mash another biscuit to the same size. Top the burger pinch sides together and roll (like a pie crust) Do the same with remaining biscuits and burgers.
5Bake for 12-15 minutes until biscuits are lightly browned.
