Tabasco Sauce Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 lb
    lean ground beef
  • 3 Tbsp
    tabasco chipotle pepper sauce, divided
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 c
    mayonaise
  • 6 slice
    pepper jack or monterey jack cheese
  • 6
    hamburger buns
  • 6 slice
    tomato
  • 6
    lettuce leaves

How to Make "South of the Border" Burger

Step-by-Step

  1. Combine ground beef, 2 tbsp of tabasco sauce and salt in a large bowl and mix well; shape into 6 patties.
  2. Combine mayonnaise with remain tabasco sauce and mix well; set aside.
  3. Grill hamburger patties to desired doneness; place cheese slices on burgers and continue cooking just until cheese melts. Spread mayonnaise on buns and top with burgers, tomato and lettuce.
