- 2 pounds lean ground beef
- 3 tablespoons tabasco chipotle pepper sauce, divided
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup mayonaise
- 6 slices pepper jack or monterey jack cheese
- 6 - hamburger buns
- 6 slices tomato
- 6 - lettuce leaves
How To Make "south of the border" burger

Step 1Combine ground beef, 2 tbsp of tabasco sauce and salt in a large bowl and mix well; shape into 6 patties.

Step 2Combine mayonnaise with remain tabasco sauce and mix well; set aside.

Step 3Grill hamburger patties to desired doneness; place cheese slices on burgers and continue cooking just until cheese melts. Spread mayonnaise on buns and top with burgers, tomato and lettuce.
