Ingredients

  • - 2 sticks salted butter, 1/2 lb thin sliced bacon cut into 1/2" pieces
  • - 1 medium to large vidalia onions or sweet onions cut into large pieces, 2 lbs silver floss sour kraus rinsed lightly
  • - 1- 12 ox box porabella mushrooms coarsely chopped, 1-12 oz box of no yoke egg noodles, cook as directed.
  • - 1 tsp oregano, 1 tsp of italian seasoning
  • - 2- 12 oz hillshire farms beef kielbasa sliced thin and halved. (or kielbasa of your choice)

How To Make sour kraus party dish

  • Step 1
    In large skillet add 1 tab butter and bacon, cook until almost crispy. Add onion and 2 tabs of butter, continue cooking until onions are translucent. Add mushrooms and cook until mushrooms are tender. Add Oregano and Italian seasoning, mix together.
  • Step 2
    Remove ingredients from stove and place in large mixing bowl. Return skillet to stove and add 2 tabs of butter and sour Kraus, cook until browned, turning as needed. Add sour Kraus to mixing bowl and combine ingredients. Return skillet to stove and add 2 tabs of butter and kielbasa, cooked until golden brown. Add to mixing bowl.
  • Step 3
    Cook egg noodles as instructed on package, drain and add to mixing bowl, add remaining butter to mixture in bowl and stir together. Salt to tast
