sour cream meatballs in cream of chicken soup

Easy and tasty served with noodles or mashed potatoes. I received this recipe over 40 yrs. ago from my neighbor. While working at the church bazaar we made 1500 meatballs and they went over very well.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds ground chuck
  • 2 - eggs
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 package dry onion soup mix
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 soup can milk or water

How To Make sour cream meatballs in cream of chicken soup

  • Step 1
    Mix ground chuck, eggs, breadcrumbs, dry onion soup and sour cream and blend well. Roll into size meatball of your choice. BROWN MEATBALLS IN 350 DEGREE OVEN FOR 30 MIN.
  • Step 2
    Mix cream of chicken soup with your choice of milk or water (or 1/2 milk and 1/2 water). Place meatballs in casserole dish and pour soup mixture over. Cover and bake for 30 minutes.
