I adopted this recipe because I liked the basic idea. Then I added some ingredients and changed the cooking method. I think I have now developed a recipe that produces a savory, juicy burger for those times when only a big 'ol burger will do! Give it a try and let me know what you think.

Ingredients
- 3/4 pound lean ground beef
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 2 tablespoons green onion,thinly sliced
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 cup fine dried bread crumbs
- - salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 - hamburger buns
- 4 slices tomato, thinly sliced
- 2 - lettuce leaves
- - additional sour cream, if desired
How To Make savory sour cream burgers

Step 1Stir together sour cream, green onion, cinnamon, garlic powder, bread crumbs, and salt and pepper, to taste. Add ground beef and mix well.

Step 2Shape into two 3/4-inch thick patties. Grill or broil patties to desired level of doneness.

Step 3Hamburger buns should be split, toasted and buttered. Serve patties on toasted buns with tomatoes, lettuce and a dollop of sour cream, if desired.
