When I was growing up, my mom would place a chuck roast in aluminum foil, cover it with a mixture of cream of mushroom soup, and a package of onion soup. Then bake it in the oven for a few hours. After I got married, I adapted it for the crockpot. My husband likes my version even better!

Ingredients

  • 2 lb
    beef chuck roast
  • 1 can(s)
    cream of mushroom condensed soup
  • 1 can(s)
    mushrooms
  • 1 can(s)
    green beans, any style
  • 1 pkg
    lipton beefy onion soup
  • 4 large
    potatoes, cut in cubes

How to Make Souper Crockpot Roast

Step-by-Step

  1. Place beef chuck roast in the bottom of crockpot.
  2. Mix together all ingredients, except potatoes.
  3. Cover beef chuck roast with soup mixture.
  4. Add potatoes and cook for 6 hours.
