When I was growing up, my mom would place a chuck roast in aluminum foil, cover it with a mixture of cream of mushroom soup, and a package of onion soup. Then bake it in the oven for a few hours. After I got married, I adapted it for the crockpot. My husband likes my version even better!

  • 2 lb
    beef chuck roast
  • 1 can
    cream of mushroom condensed soup
  • 1 can
    mushrooms
  • 1 can
    green beans, any style
  • 1 pkg
    lipton beefy onion soup
  • 4 lg
    potatoes, cut in cubes

How To Make souper crockpot roast

  • 1
    Place beef chuck roast in the bottom of crockpot.

    Mix together all ingredients, except potatoes.

    Cover beef chuck roast with soup mixture.

    Add potatoes and cook for 6 hours.
