crock pot smoky barbequed roast
I adopted this recipe because I liked the basic ingredients. I've put my own touches on it, changing and adding ingredients until it suited my tastes. I think I've developed a pretty good recipe! Please try it and let me know what you think.

Ingredients
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 large green pepper, chopped
- 2 pounds chuck roast
- 1/2 cup flour
- - salt and pepper, to taste
- 8 - 10 ounces mushrooms, fresh or canned
- 1/2 cup ketchup (i used heinz)
- 1 cup barbeque sauce (i used sweet baby ray's)
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tablespoon molasses
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon liquid smoke
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- - cooking spray
How To Make crock pot smoky barbequed roast

Step 1Spray crock pot with cooking spray.

Step 2Cut roast into 1" strips. Place roast strips, flour, salt and pepper in shallow dish and mix to cover strips well.

Step 3Place onions and pepper in crock pot. Add steak strips and top with mushrooms. Mix ketchup, barbecue sauce, beef broth, molasses, brown sugar, liquid smoke and soy sauce and add to crock pot. Cook on low for 7 hours.

Step 4Serve with rice or noodles. Enjoy!
